SURENDRA ENGINEERING CORPORATION was established in 1975. Now Surendra Engineering Corporation (Export Division) is now Surendra Engineering Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as 'SECL') with effect from April 1, 2009. The Company is in the business of providing urnkey solutions in the field of High Voltage Power Transmission Lines and Substations; & turnkey solutions for Sugar Plants, Manufacturing and Export of Engineering Goods, Machinery, Equipments, Spares and Consumables for heavy Industries.

The Company having Annual Turnover of INR 4000 Million and entered into the export arena in 1981 and exports Industrial Machinery, Spares, Industrial Castings, Consumables etc. to the Power & Sugar Industries covering countries like Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Morocco, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Denmark, France, United Kingdom, U.A.E., U.S.A. South America etc. With the growth of Engineering Exports the Company expanded its base to Designing and Executing Turnkey Projects for New Sugar Plants and Rehabilitation of Sugar Plants in the Sugar Industry. Given the tremendous importance & thrust given by the Ministry of Power, GOI to Rural Electrification / APDRP programme, SECL has formed a division / team specially for Power Transmission Lines to cater to the needs of the Power sector. Our team has successfully commissioned Meru 300MW Power Project in collaboration with Alstorm Ltd - Germany in Sudan.

The Company has its Head Office at Mumbai (India) and Branch Office at Kolhapur, Ahmednagar, Chennai, Baroda in India and at Dubai (Gulf) & Nairobi (Kenya) Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Khartoum (Sudan), Africa Regional. Also SECL has established outlets in Zambia, Tanzania, Malawi, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Indonesia through their local representatives to hold spot stocks for meeting the urgent requirements of the Power, Sugar, Cement & Paper Factories in those Countries.
